You use this non-slip mat on a glass cutting mat to mix your inks and paint. The mixed ink or paint does not become droplets, as is the case on glass. The mat is easy to clean with water or a baby wipe. You stick it on the glass plate and take it off again when you're done. The mat is heat resistant. When used with alcohol ink, the mat will discolour.
