Collection: Ranger - Distress Oxide ink

Ranger's Tim Holtz Distress Oxide is both a dye and pigment ink in one. Distress Oxide stamp ink reacts with water just like Distress Ink. The difference is the coverage and the effect you can achieve. Distress Oxide is an opaque stamp ink that blends very well. By spraying water over the ink, you can create an oxidized, chalky effect. The ink continues to react once you add water, even hours or days later. Use Distress Oxide with stamps, stencils, or directly on light or dark paper.

Distress products are perfect for mixed media projects where you combine various materials and techniques. Consider, for example, a combination of Distress Oxide with Distress Ink or sprays all formulated in the same colors. You can layer the products to add depth or color to your work. Ideal for all kinds of craft projects, such as cardmaking and scrapbooking. The felt ink pad is easily refilled with the accompanying Oxide Reinker, sold separately and available in all Distress colors.
